I don't see the point of this category. Isn't it equivalent to just "Units"? --TaviRider 16:23, March 1, 2010 (UTC)

This is only for UEF units. see w:c:supcom:Category:Units for what the "Units" category is supposed to be. Happypal 17:39, March 1, 2010 (UTC)
Ahh, my mistake. I thought this was a category called "Units by factions", of which this category page is a member. But I still don't get the point. If the "Units by factions" category has the three members I expect... who's ever going to browse it? Categories are useful for grouping large pools of otherwise undifferentiated articles, like all the unit articles. But categorizing categories? Seems too much. --TaviRider 21:21, March 1, 2010 (UTC)
It creates a tree, which makes it easy for a novice to find which categories exist. I find it a pretty cool way to categorize everything, from a single starting "Unit" point. Besides, categories are actually also supposed to be categorized, hence the Special:UncategorizedCategories page. Happypal 23:46, March 1, 2010 (UTC)
